Debut EP from Canadian avant-garde experimental noise artist Black Galaxie.

Black Galaxie is the solo noise project of musician, composer and improviser Nolan Hildebrand. Sounds of hyperactive electronic noisecore and dizzying drum rhythms are contrasted with introspective experimental improvisations making for a brutally visceral experience. In the spirit of Musique Concrète traditions, Black Galaxie uses recorded sounds as raw material to create dynamic “tape tracks” that are accompanied by drum kit. Once the drum kit is abandoned, the “tape tracks” melt and dissolve into experimental improvisations featuring digital and analogue oscillators, live processing of drums and cymbals with contact mics via guitar pedals, vocalizations, flute, children's music boxes, found objects, and live turntables.
